Popsicles:
Volunteers arrive in the band room at 845am.
They will break apart Flav-R-Ice and load them in a cooler. The cooler, along with two trash cans and scissors, will be loaded in a Gator and driven to the band field.
Popsicles are served at approximately 915, usually on the band field. Volunteers are generally free to leave by 945. We always work within the band directors’ parameters – if they’re in the middle of something, we may start serving a few minutes later. If they know they’ll be ready early, we may start a bit sooner.

Meals:
Volunteers arrive between 1015-1030am. There will be a list of things needed, but volunteers may need to pull those things out of the band booster closet (practice room #3) and set up in accordance with the instructions left. Depending on the day, the food committee chairperson may be picking up the meals and not on campus to assist until approx. 1045. Meals must be ready to serve by 1055. Students are released from the field at 11am, but may occasionally be released a few minutes early. Volunteers are usually served meals after the students have received theirs.
Clean up is generally done by 12pm.

Uniform distribution:
Great news!!! No sewing required!!! In fact, no experience needed at all!!! We’ll teach you anything you need to know!!!
During uniform distribution, 1-2 volunteers will be assigned to help make sure pant and sleeve length is proper. Those serving in this manner may sit on the floor for an extended period of time. 1-2 volunteers may help with administrative tasks and helmet distribution. The remaining volunteers will be assigned one student at a time to walk through the fitting process, including choosing uniform pieces for students to try on and verifying they fit properly. Volunteers will be instructed on how to best perform each of these tasks.
